Entertaining COCKTAIL RECIPES
These cocktail recipes are sure to wow your guests, no matter what the occasion might be.
The Pom Vivant
(makes 6 cocktails)
1 1/3 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
3 tablespoons simple syrup (see instructions)
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 bottle (750ml) Freixenet Cordon Negro Extra Dry
Orange zest (optional)
To make a batch of simple syrup, bring 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves and then chill. In a small pitcher, combine pomegranate juice, 3 tablespoons of simple syrup with 3 tablespoons of orange juice. Fill champagne flutes one third full with the pomegranate mixture and top with Freixenet. Add orange zest if desired.
French 75
3/4 oz. Grand Marnier
3/4 oz. Fresh Sour Mix
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
3 oz. Freixenet Cordon Negro
Mix together in a 10 oz. (chilled) Martini glass (no ice). Garnish with orange zest. Download recipe
Melon Fizz
1 oz. melon liqueur
4 oz. chilled Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut or Extra Dry, Carta Nevada Brut or Semi-Dry
In a champagne glass, pour melon liqueur. Add the Freixenet, stir gently. Garnish with twist of lemon or kiwi fruit. Download recipe
Sparkling Mojito
3 Lime Squeezes (then discard)
1 oz. Simple Syrup
5-6 Mint Leaves
3 1/2 oz. Freixenet Carta Nevada
Mix lime juice, simple syrup and mint leaves in ice. Add to a 14 oz. glass and pour Carta Nevada. Garnish with a mint sprig & lime zest. Download recipe
Whip Lash
3/4 oz. Cointreau
Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut
Old fashioned glass
Long orange twist
Zest an orange so you have one long strand. Curl into an old fashioned glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Pour in Cointreau and fill with Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut. Stir gently.

3/4 oz. Stirrings Basil Concentrate
Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut
Crushed Ice
Collins Glass
Basil Leaf Garnish
Fill a ten ounce collins glass with crushed ice. Pour in Stirrings Basil and Peach Concentrates. Fill the glass with Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut. Take a sprig of basil and gently stir into the glass. Download recipe

5/10 Coke
1/10 Rum
5/10 Freixenet Cordon Negro Cava Brut
Put the coke together with the rum in a mixing glass with ice. Pour mixture into a flute glass and fill with the chilled cava. Download recipe
